Women's Board of La Rabida

The Women's Board of La Rabida held its first fundraising event in 1896. Since that time, the group has played a vital role in the hospital's growth. Its deep-rooted legacy of giving has inspired generation after generation of women to share their time and talent in raising awareness and financial support for the hospital.

In recent years, The Women’s Board has hosted on hospital grounds the Annual Lace and Pearls Lawn Fete, reminiscent of the outdoor soirees of a century ago. Guests dine and dance under the stars against the backdrop of Lake Michigan.
