Perspectives in Care Symposium

About the Symposium
The purpose of this symposium is to increase understanding of Cerebral palsy with its concomitant disabilities and to offer practitioners tools for working with individuals and families based on the child's potential for optimum functional abilities.

Keynote Speaker Dr. Janice Brunstrom-Hernandez  is a Pediatric Neurologist and founder and director of the Pediatric Neurology Cerebral Palsy Center at Washington University School of Medicine and St. Louis Children's Hospital

At lunchtime we will feature a special presentation highlighting the journey of an actor with Cerebral palsy and the choreographer who was inspired to work with and cast him in a dance piece.  Continuing education credits can be earned for nurses, social workers, educators, early intervention specialists, physical therapists and occupational therapists.
