New Trustees Bring Investment Experience to La Rabida Board

Two investment bankers were recently named to the Board at La Rabida Children’s Hospital, bringing extensive personal banking and investment experience to the hospital leadership team.  Each trustee will serve a three-year term.

Lynne L. Pantalena, JD, LLM, U.S. Trust, Bank of America
Lynne L. Pantalena, JD, LLM, is Managing Director and Wealth Strategies Executive in the Central Division of Wealth Planning Solutions at U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management.

Pantalena leads a professional team of wealth management advisors, offering services tailored to the needs of high net-worth clients in the areas of estate and financial planning, tax payments, business succession, and philanthropy.

A nationally sought after speaker, Pantalena has been a presenter at the Annual Advanced Estate Planning Conference of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), American Bankers Association National Graduate Trust School, New York and New England Schools of Banking Trust Schools, the Minnesota Planned Giving Council Annual Conference, and the conferences of several state bar associations.

Formerly a private practicing attorney, Pantalena is a member of the Chicago Bar Association, the Chicago Estate Planning Council, and the Connecticut Bar Association,

Pantalena earned a Bachelor of Science degree from New Hampshire College, and a Master of Public Administration degree from New York University. She also holds Juris Doctorate and Master of Laws degrees from Quinnipiac College School of Law and Boston University, respectively.

Emilio S. Salvi, Northern Trust Company
Emilio S. Salvi is a Managing Director and Senior Vice President of the Northern Trust Company. He oversees operations in Northern’s Hinsdale Financial District office.

In 1985, Salvi joined Northern Trust Bank’s O’Hare office and has held increasingly responsible positions, including Second Vice President, at various office locations. In 2002, he assumed his current position of Managing Director and was named a Senior Vice President in July, 2005.

Salvi’s affiliations include The Parkways Foundation for which he serves as treasurer, and the Advisory Board of The Gene Siskel Film Center. He also is an officer of Friends of Prentice and Vice Chairman of Children’s Memorial Medical Research Institute.

Salvi holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University.
