La Rabida's 20th Annual Golf Outing Raises $125,000

The La Rabida Business Council raised more than $125,000 during the 20th Annual Golf Classic in early August at Harborside International Golf Course. 

Neither driving rain, nor withering heat could deter 140 die-hard scramblers who later cooled off with cocktails and a delicious dinner buffet.

Auction winners took home tickets to an assortment of treats, including a V.I.P. sports weekend in Dallas, tickets to Chicago sporting events, featuring Cubs and Bulls games. One lucky winner received a football autographed by Bears Quarterback Jay Cuter.

All proceeds will help support the hospital and its services.
