James McKinney Joins Board of Trustees at La Rabida Children's Hospital

James McKinney, an investment banker, recently joined the La Rabida Children’s Hospital Board of Trustees. He will serve a three-year term.

McKinney of William Blair & Company, L.L.C., brings 36 years of fixed income securities trading and banking experience to the board, which elected him in June.

At William Blair, McKinney is a member of the credit committee and chairman of the audit committee. He also supervises its Municipal and Taxable Fixed Income Sales and Trading Operation and the Debt Capital Markets Department.

McKinney of Libertyville earned his B.S. from Spring Hill College and an MBA from Loyola University. He is a three-time finisher of the Hawaiian Ironman.

“I am privileged to be associated with an organization that gives the finest healthcare and, more importantly, hope to so many children who struggle in their daily battle with chronic disease,” McKinney said after La Rabida’s Lawn Fête, an annual fundraiser for the hospital’s Premier Kids program.
