Get your Flu Shot: Lisa Thornton Tells Today Show Viewers

"La Rabida's Lisa Thornton, M.D., recently urged NBC's Today Show viewers to get a flu vaccination to protect themselves and others during flu season, which hasn't peaked yet. Children, pregnant women and the elderly are especially vulnerable to the virus. "Everyone over the age of six months should get the flu shot," Thornton said. Read more here.
